Lending a Helping Hand


Before the gavel came down to begin the 2006 NEA RA, delegates had the chance to attend open hearings, workshops, and exhibits. Delegates also had the opportunity to participate in a variety of volunteer activities which included giving blood, working at a local school supply warehouse, and giving items to the Orlando Food Bank.

For the second year in a row, Tom Redman (Fairfield CTA) assisted with the Habitat for Humanity project. Mr. Redman along with eighteen fellow Ohio delegates worked with the Lake County Habitat for Humanity in Eustis, Florida.
