Local Bookstores Offer Additional Discounts
Joseph-Beth Golden Apple Program
The Golden Apple Program from Joseph-Beth bookstore is open to all grade K-12 teachers. Fill out a short application, show proper I.D. (pay stub, school district ID or union membership card), and receive your card right away - your very first purchase is credited to your Golden Apple Account. Present your card every time you make a purchase for classroom use and receive a 15% discount. In addition, when you present your card Joseph-Beth will keep track of all your purchases both classroom and personal. You will automatically earn a $10 reward certificate for every $200 you spend.
Golden Apple Program members will also receive special invitations to store events, advance notice of special promotions and private sales, free classroom materials and opportunities for excellent educational opportunities.

Borders Bookstore Teacher Discount
Borders offers 20% off on classroom materials for any K-12 teacher. You must show a school a pay stub and then fill out a very simple application form to receive the discount. Borders has three locations in the SWOEA area: Eastgate (943-0068), Northgate (245-9898), and Springdale (671-5852).
Barnes & Nobles
They also provide 20% classroom materials for K-12 teachers. Hyde Park (871-4300), Kenwood (794-9440), Springdale (671-3822), Florence (859/647-6400), Deerfield (683-5599).
Half Price Books
To save an additional 10% on all purchases at Half Price Bookstores, simply visit the nearest store and fill out their “Teacher & Librarian” discount application. Make sure to bring in a proof of employment (20 or more hours per week).
